With 12 years of experience under her belt, Ashley's passion for design, engineering, and architecture has been the driving force behind her successful career. Ashley stated, "My love for solving problems keeps me coming back to the table to design."
Ashley's love for engineering first began in high school drafting classes, now she serves in her pivotal role at Matern Professional Engineering. Ashley feels fulfillment when seeing a project come to fruition, one of her favorites is the Lyman Career Innovation Center and the Villages Charter School (HS & Sports Complex).
"To this day when I walk on a job site with a man, the contractors assume the male is the one with more knowledge." Ashley shares. She has faced challenges in our industry yet she has had unwavering determination to break stereotypes and empower future generations of women in leadership roles.
